Default Tribes alternatives
I've been ah'itchin for a tribes-esque game, but I have yet to find any. I've looked into a few (Ascension, TWars), But they both aren't even close to a public beta. So far, I've been playing Legions @ http://www.instantaction.com , but that doesn't really have anything more than jetpacks and some of the classic tribes weps (No mortar, but nade launcher/spinfusor, chaingun/sniper)...Know of any other games?

Team Fortress 2 is very similar, though lacking some things like jetpacks. But, half of FFG plays it, and it's only 20$. Go get it.

I don't have money to spend... And I'm on a
*insert dramatic pause here*
Mac. Having a hard time with the stupid CD drive on this thing, so I can't get windows up until I get fixage.

TF2 is only 20$, bum from your parents/a friend. If you're really desperate you can borrow one of my accounts until you get one of your own.

Dual boot Windows XP with a torrented image. No need for a CD drive when you've got a virtual drive.

TF2 is downloadable once you activate with the CDkey on your steam account. Neato huh?

All your arguments shot down, now you have to play TF2.

how did you acquire a mac? your choice or if u are underage b& did your mom/dad talk you into it?
